My last show of the year is up and going, and to say the opening was a lot of fun would be an understatement.
More bodies than I had honestly expected were there, and engaged perfectly with the spirit of the work. Much laughing and appreciating of silly noises were a testament to that (Especially during the speeches!)
Now, for those who haven’t yet had a chance to see the kinetic sculptures, experience the sound pieces, and see why the little boy is getting wet – you have 2 weeks to visit! Just looking at a photo does not do them full justice.
If you wish to time your visit to when I’ll be there, I’m minding the show this coming Saturday from 10am to 3pm, at Gallery Red on Glebe Point Rd., Glebe, so come and buy me a coffee and enjoy my homage to Duchamp and his legacy of the ‘Readymade’.
