Feb 2018 update

So – what’s been happening?

Not too much: just 6 months of absolute crazy carnage and incredible experiences, that’s all ...

Here is a short update on the fly: From preparing for Italy; to a full month residency in Assisi; to exhibiting AND winning an award in the Florence Biennale; to Rylstone Wood Symposium; to finishing the work for the solo show; then to the challenges of installing/exhibiting 30+ pieces in a non-art venue. And then that is all overlaid with the annual Christmas and New Year carnage.

I am feeling exhausted just writing about it.

But now, to today ...

This Saturday (2 pm) marks the open Artist Talk at ‘Meet Frank’, the current solo show. Here I have a chance to chat with you about my work, talk all thing art, and chew the fat over a quiet drink later.

The end of next week is the deinstall and delivery of sold works. If you have not had a chance to see it, better be quick. If you miss out, the catalogue can be viewed on 'Meet Frank catalogue'

Then, I will be able to have a chance to pause and reflect on the lessons learnt and successes achieved – which I am pleased to say there have been many.

Further on, already applications and submissions are going out for this year’s group shows prizes and residencies. Some very interesting new venues, new work, and new ideas are being formed.

It looks like it is going to be a very good year.
