A little Exciting Quicky ...

There is some very exciting news afoot.

Under normal circumstances, like most practicing artists, I don’t post when I receive a residency, or when I get accepted into an award. Only after the event has been realized. But, this time, it is different. This time, I am still pinching myself that it is real.

As I have shared previously, my work is based on the research I doing into St. Francis of Assisi. This has already led to a variety of excellent pieces. The next stage of the development of this would be actual to visit Assisi, to effectively undergo a pilgrimage to immerse myself in the whole area.

The dream will become a reality next year!

I have been accepted into a month-long residency at Arte Studio Ginestrelle, on the slopes of Mount Subasio, Assisi!!!

But wait, there is more ...

As a bigger dream, as I am now going to be in the area at the time, I applied for inclusion in the XI Florence Biennale – and have been selected!!!!

My mind has, and is still, officially blown to another orbit.
